Jude Hospice, and is board-certi ed in both
family practice and hospice and palliative care.
She received her doctorate in osteopathic
medicine in 2001 at the Des Moines University
and Osteopathic Medical Center. She completed
her residency in 2004 in the Mercy/Mayo Family
Medicine Residency program in Des Moines.

bachelor’s from Boise State University in 2009.
GRANDE RONDE
Hospital, Inc., is
pleased to announce that Jamie Dickenson, LCSW,
has accepted the position of Patient Experience
Coordinator for Grande Ronde Hospital (GRH).
Dickenson received both her bachelor’s and
master’s degrees in social work from Boise State
University. Her clinical work experience includes
mental health therapy, school counseling, child
and family behavioral management, crisis manage-
ment, end-of-life education, and grief counseling.
As a longtime member of the community, Dickenson has been a
patient of GRH and its providers for many years. It was those experi-
ences, she says, that drew her to pursue a career with GRH.
“I have always been impressed with the hospital’s enthusiasm for
service, patient-centered care and striving to improve the overall
patient experience,” Dickenson says. “I support the mission to provide
excellent health care to our community, but also the shared vision to
be a leader in supporting community wellness. We will continue to
strive to earn the community’s trust and loyalty through professional-
ism and excellent service.”
e Patient Experience Coordinator position was created in support
of the corporation’s mission to improve patient satisfaction and overall
patient experience. In this role, Dickenson serves as a patient advo-
cate, acting as a liaison for GRH and clinic patients, fostering greater
involvement from patients and their families for more e ective health
care decision making.
Dickenson is a northeast Oregon native, with a passion for serv-
ing her community. Originally from Joseph, Dickenson currently
resides in Cove with her husband and three sons and has a baby girl
on the way.
